A way of reading what is actually happening in a room, and holding your own judgement under pressure, when the board or the deal is telling you otherwise. It travels into every board paper, every difficult conversation, every call that is yours to make, long after the work ends.

The engagement

Six coaching sessions over three to six months, with real support in the moments between. Face-to-face or virtual, you choose what works for your schedule.

Three-month sprint

Fortnightly, 60 minutes

For periods that benefit from close to real-time partnership.

For sustained development, with room to test and integrate between sessions.

How we begin

It begins with a conversation, not a contract.

We spend thirty minutes, both ways, working out whether this is the right work for where you are. I only take it on when I am confident it is, and you decide the same. And if the first session shows we have misread it, you can step out and I will return the balance. I would rather you be in the right room than a full one.

I work with a small number of ANCHOR clients at any one time, so the attention and responsiveness stay high. New engagements begin after a Confidential Conversation, and only where the fit is clear.

I'm Sonya Choi La Rosa, a Leadership Presence Coach.

For more than 25 years I led corporate transformation, so I know what it is to carry the weight no one sees and hold your ground when the pressure in the room is loud. I created ANCHOR for the woman holding complex leadership in real time, the thinking partner I wished I'd had when the decisions were mine to make.

Before you book

Is this coaching or advice?

Coaching. The work sharpens your own judgement, with mentoring layered in only when peer counsel genuinely serves you and you are open to it. It is not consulting, and it is not someone handing you their answers for a fee.

How is this different from other executive coaching?

You are coached by someone who has operated in equivalent rooms, and the work develops your judgement rather than substituting for it. The frameworks we build are yours to keep.

What is the investment?

This is a private bespoke coaching arrangement, shared in the Confidential Conversation, once we both know it is the right work for where you are.

What if I am not sure ANCHOR is right?

That is what the conversation is for. It is a two-way read. If it is not the right fit, I will point you toward what is.

How much time will it ask of me?

Six sessions across three to six months, paced to you, with real-time support in between. It is built to hold a complex period, not to add to it.
